CHEP is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization with a dual mission. The organization provides premier planning and delivery of local and national accredited continuing education events in the form of seminars and conferences for healthcare providers, first responders and other community partners. The success of these events helps to support transitional housing programs for homeless Veterans, which are operated in three different locations. The Veterans are provided a continuum of services in a sober living environment that include case management, vocational rehabilitation, financial management skills and life skills training with the ultimate goal of independent living in the community.
